It's hard to know what to do when your baby, toddler or child is sick and you are not sure whether you should go to your doctors or the hospital emergency department.
We provide an urgent care paediatrics telehealth service provided by Australian paediatric specialists who are currently working at the country's top children's hospitals. We support families all around Australia with expert medical advice for their kids from the comfort and security of their own homes via an easy-to-use family friendly video consultation platform. We have been helping children and parents, and supporting families with online medical care since 2014.
How it works:
DOCTO provides a highly secure video consultation platform that may be used on any device with a camera and internet connection. This includes PCs, smartphones, and tablets, but for best results, please use a laptop or PC whenever possible.
You can tell if your child has a fever by checking the temperature with a thermometer, feeling for warmth, or listening for rapid breathing. You may also notice that your child's skin feels warm and dry to touch. In younger children, parents may notice decreased activity level, loss of appetite, vomiting or diarrhea. Older kids might complain about pain all over or have trouble sleeping. Kids under two years old who get fevers often don't show other symptoms until later in the illness so it's important to talk to a doctor early.
