Online Psychiatrist

High-quality psychiatric support for adults and adolescents with minimal appointment wait times.
Though most people are aware of the importance of good mental health, seeking help can sometimes be daunting. Finding quality psychiatric services at a convenient time and location, particularly in rural areas, can prove to be quite difficult and time-consuming.
The use of telehealth consultations can greatly improve access to mental health care, leading to better outcomes for patients and health services.

Telehealth services
Our psychiatric department allows access to one on one telehealth consultations throughout Australia, including in the most remote areas, allowing you the freedom and privacy of receiving online psychiatric support in your own home. All you need is a phone or a computer and our team can attend to you online.
Your telehealth consultation is covered by Medicare and patients do not need to supply a referral to book appointments for psychiatric care.

Initial Consultations
Our dedicated team of specialists take the time to create a comprehensive case history and discuss any other mental health conditions. Our psychiatrists also conduct a personal mental status examination and walk you through the treatment process, all during your initial consultation.
Our telehealth services include a secure one-on-one video consultation for assessment and treatment of:

  • Feelings of anxiety, stress or depression
  • Eating disorders
  • Impulsive behavious, difficulty focusing, hyperactivity

DIAGNOSIS
This will assist in the diagnosis of any mental health conditions in relation to attention deficit, mood, behaviour, cognition or perception and allow your psychiatrist to recommend the best treatment management plans for you.
Patients in rural and remote areas may not have a local GP or health service for our psychiatrist to liaise with, if this is the case please discuss future online appointments.

REFERRALS
Referrals are preferred but not required to book a video conference with one of our professional psychiatrists. Our doctors like to work closely with your general practitioner regarding your follow-up health care.
For further information or advice on Medicare rebates, please contact our team to speak to one of our clinicians.
